Day 1 (17/11/2014)
Today we started work after lunch as we had to do our social security in the morning. We started out by arranging the equipment in the studio, putting the lights and microphone back in place for the greenscreen shoot that we'll have sometime this week. After that, we went into the machine room and pulled out some cables that were obsolete. Our production capabilities are being moved from the control room to the trailer and most of the components are no longer necessary.

Day 2 (18/11/2014)
Today we started working on the trailer after not working on it for more than one week. I spent most of the day pulling coaxial cables, crimping BNC connectors and labelling cables for the various components in the trailer. At the end of the day, we tested the remote cameras in the sanctuary to see if they work with the trailer. One of the camera's video feed was not showing and we were not able solve the problem. We decided to call it a day and solve the problem the tomorrow.

Day 3 (19/11/2014)
Today we had to pull some cables from the sanctuary to the machine room. The cables are meant for the new cameras that to be in the sanctuary. We drilled 2 holes in one of the pillars, but only 1 hole was used. The other hole was a mistake as we thought that the pillar was too thick and hard to drill through in that section and we drilled another one. We used a fish stick to pull the cable up into the false ceiling. We then started pulling another cable to a second camera. We used the scaffolding to pull the cable through the false ceiling and using another fish stick, we pulled it into the sanctuary. After that, we shot the English version of the Thanksgiving message video.
Day 4 (20/11/2014)
Today we started out by editing the footage we shot the previous day. We had some minor problems with the timecode not syncing properly as I had forgotten to copy some files from the SD card that contained the metadata the previous day. After copying the files over, the footage synced properly and I proceeded to edit the footage, key out the green, add the background and lower thirds as well as doing the sound editing. After that, I went down to help out with cabling, pulling up the cables we laid the previous day into the machine room. In the evening we went to the SF Cuttters event. I enjoyed the various presentations that they had. It was at this time that I started to feel slightly unwell. I had a minor sore throat. This would be the first sign of a bigger problem to come.
Day 5 (21/11/2014)
We started out the day by shooting the final Thanksgiving video message, the Cantonese version. After the shoot, Nicholas helped me with editing the video as I did not understand Cantonese. I then composited the footage and did the sound editing. After that, I went down to the trailer and terminated some coaxial cables before going to the cafetorium to set up for the next 2 days Thanksgiving event. I was starting to feel tired and unwell with my throat acting up.
Day 6 (22/11/2014)
Today, I woke up with a terrible headache. I had not slept well the previous night due to my stuffy nose and I am now down with flu. I took the first half of the day off, resting in bed. In the evening, I decided to help out as I was feeling slightly better. I operated the video switcher as it did not require the fine muscle controls that camera operation need.
Day 7 (23/11/2014)
I'm still unwell today. In the morning, I went out to assist in the English church service that is being live streamed from our production trailer. I assisted as the video engineer operating the camera control unit. The shoot went quite well, although there were still a few glitches that needed to be ironed out. I spent the rest of the day recovering in bed as they had enough manpower during the English Thanksgiving dinner. I wish that I could have participated in that event as it was the only Thanksgiving dinner that was spoken in the language that I understood.
