Week 08

Day 37 (7th December 2014)

Week 8 of internship. We started the day in the trailer once again. After which, we started preparing for the Lawton Preschool performance. I was in charge of operating camera 3. After the performance, we went back to the trailer.

Day 38 (8th December 2014)

Today we started the day on the trailer. We were tasked to settle some wiring issues. Hence we had to strip some cables, and connect it to the respective slots.

Day 39 (9th December 2014)

Today we had to 2 performances to cover, Silver preschool, and kindergarten. We had lots to prepare before the performances. I had to help strip some cables for Ed, as he is working on the soldering. After which, I went on to work on the sound for the Silver preschool. However, I made a mistake while working on the sound. The final output had a really low volume as I did not adjust the audio to the correct level. However, after explaining the situation to Mr Harry, and Mr Phil, they patiently comfort me and told me not to worry, and managed to fix the problem in the end. It was really a relief for me. After dinner, together with Mr Harry, we went on the sanctuary to work on the audio for the Kindergarten performance.

Day 40 (10th December 2014)

Today we were tasked to set up Christmas lights in the trailer. After which, we pretty much called it a day. There will be a heavy rain tomorrow, hence school will be closed.

Day 41 (12th December 2014)

Today we started the day by setting up a white screen. It was used for a wedding photoshoot, which will be taken a few days later. After which, we went to set up mics, speakers, audio mixers in the romans cafe, as there is an event in the evening. As it was getting late, we went ahead to the sanctuary to watch the rehearsal for the Cantonese ChristmaSing 2014.

Day 42 (13th December 2014)

We started the day by working on the Cantonese ChristmaSing 2014. For the first session, I was the remote camera operator. For the second session, I was one of the camera operators in the sanctuary.

Day 43 (14th December 2014)

We woke up early today to help out with the setting up for the English ChristmaSing 2014 rehearsal. After which, we went on to help record the Sunday church service. We then made our way to the cafe to watch the English ChristmaSing 2014 rehearsal after we were done.
